- Well, either would keep a target from going anywhere. Ring of Fire just keeps them in place, Char keeps them from doing anything at all. For tanking, my preference would be Char strictly for the damage mitigation factor of a hold vs. an immob. (If I had a choice like that for a brute, I might have a different opinion because of the effect on Fury.) --Eabrace 14:15, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
- I'd probably pick Char for the hold as well. My tank has arctic mastery which has a ranged hold as well, and I certainly like it. - Snorii 16:37, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
